we stayed in the standard queen room equipped with shared balcony, b grade thriller movies and 3 single beds. the location was magnificent and absolutely perfect - really close to gardens, warburton from now on and next to river. all the staff was very very helpful and we had an easy check in.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were not very friendly.

Friendly & helpful, housekeeping was thoughtful & discreet keeping my room spotless & providing a wineglass without being asked. The grounds are very attractive gardens & it is in a quiet location on the outskirts of town. Great shower :) Really good heating.
Noisy fridge as so many motels do, easily fixed by turning it off overnight.

The location was beautiful, and very peaceful. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The room, although the decor was a bit dated, was comfortable, clean, and warm - with very effective heating. The bed was also quite comfortable. It was easy to find the hotel and the parking was great.
It would have been nice to have a few more amenities in the room - a microwave oven, and a DVD/CD player, for example. A fresh paint job would probably brighten the place up a little too.
